My name is Edgar Mollinedo, and I’m a proud son of Cusco, shaped by the spirit of the Andes. I studied Tourism at the National University of San Antonio Abad and have spent years exploring Peru—its hidden valleys, sacred mountains, and vibrant traditions. Guiding travelers taught me that every journey is a story waiting to be shared. With deep roots in Andean culture and a love for nature and history, I co-founded Travelution Peru to create meaningful, immersive experiences. My work is more than tourism—it’s a way to connect people to the soul of my homeland. Each itinerary I design is a tribute to the wisdom of the mountains and the people who keep it alive.
José Luis Ugarte
My name is José Ugarte, but they don’t call me Pepe. I come from a big, lively family, and I consider myself lucky—luck and gratitude have carried me far, even in the face of uncertainty. I lost my faith young but gained free will, curiosity, and a questioning spirit that still guides me. As an adventure guide, I’ve flirted with death and learned to value every moment, every step, every breath.
I fell in love on the Inca Trail, married Amy, and built a life between rivers, mountains, shared dreams, and two beautiful daughters. Her passing led me to writing, and through that pain, I discovered a new purpose—my first book, The Page on the Door, is a tribute to her, to storytelling, and to the deep love we shared.
