Information

Dare to experience an epic 13-day and 12-night adventure exploring Choquequirao, the “Cradle of Gold,” and the majestic Machu Picchu. This trek for true adventurers traverses the Vilcabamba mountain range, far from the tourist crowds, revealing an immense variety of landscapes that range from snowy mountain passes to subtropical rainforest in deep river gorges. Along the way, admire the diversity of native flora and fauna and enjoy breathtaking panoramic mountain vistas.

Discover Choquequirao, Machu Picchu’s enchanting “secret sister,” hidden in the spurs of the Salkantay Mountain Range. Imagine this city as an entrance, or perhaps the main religious center, to the lofty Incan Vilcabamba empire. Reachable only after a 20-mile hike, this archaeological site stands at 3,050 meters (10,006 feet).
